Norway

Norway is Nofence's pioneer market, where it all started in a small town on the west coast. We have served customers across the entire country for more than 10 years. From large-scale operations in the eastern and central parts to smallholders in valleys, fjords and mountains, our products serve a vast range of customers across cattle, sheep and goat.

Sweden

Following recent regulatory approval in 2026, virtual fencing has emerged as a brand-new agricultural category in Sweden. However, because Nofence was founded in neighboring Norway, most Swedish farmers are already familiar with the technology. Sweden is a vast country, characterized by fertile soils in the south and expansive, remote grazing lands in the north—meaning Nofence offers a highly diverse range of benefits depending on the region. To support this demand, Nofence Sweden currently operates with a team of four and is actively expanding to ensure strong geographical coverage nationwide.

UK

Following its launch in Norway, the UK became Nofence's second market when the first collars were deployed on livestock in 2019. Since then, the technology has expanded nationwide, with active collars operating everywhere from the Isles of Scilly up to the Shetland Isles. Nofence offers tailored collar solutions across cattle, sheep, and goats, serving a diverse mix of agricultural, conservation, and public sector users. Today, the technology powers everything from targeted lowland rotational grazing to high-profile conservation projects on sensitive ecological habitats and UNESCO World Heritage sites. Local councils and wildlife trusts also deploy Nofence-collared herds to manage public parks, common land, and open access areas safely without traditional fencing. Operations and UK support are anchored out of Nofence's office in Shropshire as the company continues to grow its dedicated team nationwide.

Ireland

Irish farmers have known Nofence by reputation since 2021, when the first collars reached Ireland informally through the UK team, ahead of any dedicated Irish operation. Ireland's grazing land presents its own set of challenges: commonages, upland terrain and areas of sensitive flora and fauna that are difficult or impossible to fence conventionally. Early Irish use cases reflect that range, from wildfire risk management on upland farms to commonage grazing and urban herding projects, alongside growing interest from dairy farms managing rearing stock in the way John's own family does. With Nofence now formally launched in Ireland and John leading sales on the ground, the company is building out a dedicated presence to serve farmers nationwide.

Spain

Nofence Spain operates with an agile team of 9 people including sales, marketing, and support covering the entire country, from the dehesas of Extremadura in the south to mountains in the north. We serve the cattle, sheep, and goat market defined by a strong tradition of extensive livestock farming which enhances the growth of precision livestock farming technologies and growing demand for digitalization tools. The technology is key to help alleviate rural labor shortages, implement rotational and regenerative management on hard terrains and fix population in rural areas.
